We are open to working the land ourselves, partnering with someone else, or just helping out. We would like an arrangement with housing. This could be housing in exchange for work, a house with land to rent, or a house with land for sale. My husband is a wildlife biologist who specializes in habitat restoration/creation and I currently stay home with our 1-year-old son. We have experience with livestock, small animals, and gardening. My husband is handy around the house and can do various odd jobs/repairs. I have a master's degree in environmental education, am not afraid of hard work, and am very good with technology. I can also take care of finances, administrative tasks, marketing, etc. We are pretty flexible in what we are looking for but would love to be able to work the land. Would prefer to stay within about 45 minutes of Lacey.
Who I am and What I'm looking for:
We've worked on a 50-horse farm, have an annual fruit/vegetable garden, raise egg/meat chickens, and produce maple syrup.
Short term plans for the land / farm business:
We would like to live and work on the land. We are flexible with the type of farm if it is a work exchange or partnership.
