My partner and I are planning to start a small CSA this spring/summer. We are looking for no more than an acre to grow a mix of produce on. Organic ground preferred, as we will not use any herbicides or pesticides; following a sustainable permaculture land management style.
I live in Seattle and my partner lives in Skagit Valley. We dream of one day having our own land and farm to sell high quality food to the community. This will be our first CSA if we can find a piece of land to cultivate.
We have worked on a berry farm and backyard gardened for some years. We are currently taking a course on Ag Entrepreneurship through WSU. We also work in the farming industry selling software to farms to sell their products direct.
