Hoping to be the next generation of organic farmers, utilizing our degrees for sustainable practices.
My partner and I graduated from Oregon State University in 2017 with degrees in Agricultural Science and Sustainability. We were interns at the organic farm at OSU throughout our college careers and have a passion for organic and sustainable practices. We practice permaculture design techniques and are looking for land to start up a small business to supply the local community with fresh produce that they can trust. We also have permaculture design certificates.
I have 4 years farming experience. I was an intern with Oregon State University, worked on various organic farms across the country and have 2 bachelors degrees in Agricultural Science and Sustainability. I also ran the farmers market for my community college, including harvesting produce all the way to point of sales. I have a permaculture designers certificate.
To work with the land using sustainable and organic practices. Creating a small business that can feed the local community fresh and organic produce, herbs, fruits, etc. My long term goal is to have a homestead where I have an on site farm stand, provide CSA’s to the community, work farmers markets, teach people about permaculture, and provide fresh organic produce to people for a reasonable cost.
