I am looking to free myself and my family from the industrial food chain and return us to the pure and healthy food grown by the sweat from my brow. I no longer want to see my children poisoning themselves with the processed mess that we buy from the shelves of the markets. I seek independence.
I grew up with time split between the suburbs and my grandparents' farm in Missouri. I want my children to learn real skills, to know what it is like to work the land, and take pride in their efforts and fruits of their labor. I want to build something for them and their children's children that will last for decades if not centuries to come.
Very remedial at best. When I was child I worked on my grandparents' farm but that was long ago. I yearn to start fresh and learn anew.
To get one good cash crop out of the land and use the profits to pay down operation related debt and fund further development of the land.
