The land has 3500 lilies, 185 raspberries bushes, 47 fruit and nut trees, 900 cucumber plants. There are no longer any animals on the farm. We have a Kubota tractor and 7 implements to go with it. We have been known for 17 varieties of organic heirloom tomatoes and organic gourmet veggies but due to COVID we are now keeping it quite simple. We are approaching 70 years and getting tired. We have discovered a good market for flowers and cucumbers. It has been a diverse small market farm nested in 57 acres of forest and wetland. Owners live in main house. There is a 3400 sq ft barn with a flower cooler, vegetable cooler, and dry storage. We also have a commercial heated greenhouse and 42 x 72 high tunnel. We have accounts with some stores and have also participated in farmer's markets and direct sales in the past.
We are retiring and would like someone to take over and lease the farm. You will need a very good business plan and start up capital. The farm is for sale at this time as well but we would enter a contract with a new farmer which would include specified dates and agreements for crops etc.
Growing vegetables and flowers for wholesale, stated bees for honey this year.
